Mobile reporting can be a frustrating experience. The worst part is lack of connectivity. G3 is just not fast enough to make uploading video files and even audio files a worthwhile experience, and when travelling the signal is too unstable to do anything other than checking email (with a client, no web mail) and Twittering.

Today was takeoff: 15 journalists from 11 countries, myself (Matthias) and assistant Carola departed from Berlin at 12.58 hrs. on ICE 109 to Munich. It’s the start to our eight day study tour of Germany.
