Transparency International, a global coalition fighting corruption, has said Zimbabwe is a country where civil society groups campaigning for transparency find it extremely difficult to operate. Servaas Feiertag, TI’s programme manager for Africa, told the participants of this year’s IIJ Summer Academy that the Zimbabwean government lacks the political will to fight corruption.
