Basirou Bah was on Thursday 23rd of February remanded in Prison custody by the Banjul Magistrates’ court presided over by Principal Magistrate Alagbe Taiwo Ade for allege murder.
According to the particulars of offence the aforesaid person on the 10th of February, at Yorro Jula Village in Lower River Region {LRR} murdered one Gallo Njie by stabbing him a knife on the chest and thereby committed an offence.
The trial Magistrate ruled that the case is a murder case and therefore it is to be transferred to the Special Criminal Court of the High court in Banjul. He however ruled that the accused to be remanded in prison custody pending the proper arraignment at the High court.
