ICANN: Lack of community consensus to delay release of new top level domains

Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), Nairobi-Kenia's premier meeting place where ICANN held its 37th meeting

 

The 37th meeting for Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) closed in Nairobi on Friday 12th March 2010 in Nairobi with a clear indication that issue of new top level domains shall be delayed.

The much awaited resolution on .xxx domain was also deferred to June for the board to consult wider. I followed the meeting closely. See all that transpired here
