World leaders have been urged to embark on reforms that would ensure the inclusion of developing countries in the international governance structure. Currently within the international governance structure many decisions are taken based on the economic weight of member countries and since many developing countries are poor their voices are hardly heard.

Prison deaths rising in northern Mozambique

MAPUTO – Nearly 30 prisoners have died in prisons in the northern province of Nampula in March due to negligence, malnutrition and diarrhoea, local media reports show. At least 15 prisoners died of malnutrition and diarrhoea related cases in the northern coastal district of Angoche, this month, state broadcaster Televisao de Mozambique (TvM) reported today.
